Television is the first audiovisual device that changed the way people see entertainment. It opened the realm of recreation and mass communication. It made possible for people and families to watch live events in the comforts of their drawing room. By 1950s, the aftermath of World War II had faded away. I do love to watch my TV shows, there are some shows, that I refuse to watch if I find they are trying too hard to sell me a product while the show is running. Like zooming in on the apple logo of the computer they are using or driving their vehicle up to camera so you get HUGE view of the automaker. Coffee maker brands ack I hate it, like watching one big add.
